At the start of the Plant Photographic Scavenger Hunt, approximately 1400 of Indiana's 2700 species lacked adequate images. Many thanks to all who have helped us reduce the number to fewer than 500 species!

By the end of funding, the 2021 project had garnered 8988 images. Of them, 6430 were edited and uploaded to the Consortium of Midwest Herbaria. The late photo submissions included many of Indiana’s rare species. Given the success and interest, we are in the process of finding funding to complete the editing and uploading of the image backlog.
